Physical Description

Storm is a stunning silvery grey, long haired lady with ripple patterns on her back. Her fur is the softest you will ever feel.

Known History & Temperament

Storm was rescued when her elderly owner had to move to a care home. Initially very scared and anxious, she has settled into her foster home well. She does startle with sudden noise or movements but if she’s overwhelmed, Storm is likely to run and hide rather than lash out.

Interests and Hobbies

Storm has a very playful side when it comes to cat toys. Her favourite kinds to play with are string toys, and toys she can hold with her claws. She likes to pounce on toys being dragged around her, and when she grabs hold of one, she’ll hold it in her claws and pull the string with her mouth. She gets very excited when she gets to play, and she has no trouble entertaining herself. Storm also likes to sit in the window and watch the activities of the tiny humans on the street, park and river below her apartment, as well as snuggle up to her chosen human on the bed, purring and keeping their legs warm.

Dislikes

Storm likes head scritches and strokes but isn’t keen on pats or having her paws touched. She’s never deliberately scratched, or bitten; but she will let you know if she wants you to stop something. She also refuses to be picked up, digging her claws into the carpet and yowling if you do manage to get her off the floor.

Purrfect Home

Storm likes structure and routine and may struggle to adapt to an environment that is chaotic, loud or that constantly changes. As a result, she’s probably best suited as a companion to someone who works from home, or has regular work hours as she can entertain herself. She may not be suited to young children as she is fussy about how you pet her but someone who likes to play with her would be ideal.
