Physical Description
Jaffa is a generously proportioned nutmeg (ginger) and white duchess with medium length coat hair (no fluffy tail though). If there were to be anything notable of Jaffa’s outward appearance, it would be her asymmetrical eyes – one simply opens wider than the other, purely for gazing at you seeking affection and attention.
Known History & Temperament
Jaffa comes from an interesting background. She was a ratter in a pet food factory and would now like to find her forever retirement home. She likes her own space. She appears standoffish at first but is just assessing the situation. She likes routine, comes out 15 minutes before dinner time then lets you know it’s bedtime. She is fine with other cats who also like their own space.
Cattitude Level
- Loves snuggle time, but also ‘alone’ time
- Shy, gentle, tentative
- Prefers to be alone – no other animals or people needed
Interests and Hobbies
Eating, pats and lots of sleep.
Dislikes
Being woken.
Purrfect Home
Jaffa would love a home where she gets pats when it suits her and a place to hide away so she has peace. Jaffa soaked up the attention from a calm child double petting her at a recent adoption day… happily accepted all offered strokes and nuzzles without hesitation or alarm. Therefore; young grabby children might agitate her, and full-time / shift / long hours workers/students would not be missed until feed time – whenever that might be.
Health Notes
As an older girl, Jaffa feels a bit stiff as she wakes up.
