Physical Description

Hektor is a big tabby and white boy with green almond shaped eyes.

Known History & Temperament

Hektor is a super friendly guy and should settle into a new home relatively quickly. He is a chatty guy and will talk back when spoken to. Hektor was rescued from Rockingham pound in May 2023.

Interests and Hobbies

Hektor is really cuddly, from day one he’s enjoyed a tummy/chest rub, he doesn’t mind being picked up, loves lap time and attention in general. Hek loves to play with his toys and climb his cat tree. He adores his food and will eat most things put in front of him.

Other Cats, Dogs and Children

Hektor is friendly to other cats, but his big size can be off-putting to them. Because of this it may take others cats a little while to accept him. Having said this, Hek enjoys being around other cats. He loves to play with his foster brothers and is incredibly gentle and considerate of his smallest cat companion, who is half his size! Hek’s confident personality should make him a good companion for older calm children or cat-friendly older dogs.

Dislikes

Hektor is a sensitive soul and seems a little hurt when rejected by other cats. He would cry, leave the room and go and hide when this happened. Thankfully his carer’s other foster cats have come to like and accept him now.

Purrfect Home

Hektor is a very easy-going cat, and he enjoys being around people and other pets. He would likely be happiest in a home where people are frequently around. He’s big on cuddles and just wants to be loved.
