Brian is a handsome, stocky, short haired tabby boy, with white markings and feet.
Known History & Temperament
Brian was found, hungry and frightened, and was taken to the pound. It was immediately noticed that he was in a lot of pain with his eyes – he wouldn’t open them, even when scared. We took him straight to our vets who performed Entropion surgery on both eyes and his transformation has been amazing! Finally, for the first time, Brian can see and is no longer in agony every time he opens his eyes or blinks.
He has gained so much confidence and is now in good health with a stunning coat.
- Totally chill, not bovvered Loves snuggle time, but also ‘alone’ time
Interests and Hobbies
Brian has slowly discovered how to play and loves a wand toy. At first, he would run away but now seeks out a toy to roll around with.
He loves his food, sleeping next to his foster carer and following them around chatting away.
In his first foster home, the other cats didn’t like him, but he is non-reactive. He may be best as an only cat.
His only dislike is seeing his food bowl empty!
Due to other cats reactions to him, he may suit a home where he is an only cat. He loves sleeping so having his people away all day won’t worry him at all – as long as there is wet food and snuggle time when they get home!
He has not been tested with dogs.
Brian is FIV+ but is in good health. Ideally, he’ll need a checkup every six months just to make sure he is doing ok. With a good diet, annual vaccination and an indoor life, Brian will live a long and happy life.
Brian has had Entropion surgery on both eyes, and it has been a complete success.
