Physical Description

Brian is a handsome, stocky, short haired tabby boy, with white markings and feet.

Known History & Temperament

Brian was found, hungry and frightened, and was taken to the pound. It was immediately noticed that he was in a lot of pain with his eyes – he wouldn’t open them, even when scared. We took him straight to our vets who performed Entropion surgery on both eyes and his transformation has been amazing! Finally, for the first time, Brian can see and is no longer in agony every time he opens his eyes or blinks.
He has gained so much confidence and is now in good health with a stunning coat.

Cattitude Level

  • Totally chill, not bovvered
  • Chill with a hint of crazy!
  • Loves snuggle time, but also ‘alone’ time

Interests and Hobbies

Brian has slowly discovered how to play and loves a wand toy. At first, he would run away but now seeks out a toy to roll around with.

He loves his food, especially wet food and treats. Brian loves sleeping next to his foster carer and following them around chatting away.

Dislikes

In his first foster home, the other cats didn’t like him, but he is non-reactive. He may be best as an only cat. Brian just wants to be friends but he can be a bit demanding which can get a negative reaction from other cats.

His only dislike is seeing his food bowl empty!

Purrfect Home

Due to other cats reactions to him, he may suit a home where he is an only cat. He loves sleeping so having his people away all day won’t worry him at all – as long as there is wet food and snuggle time when they get home!

Brian’s current foster carer has an dog but she is not bothered by Brian’s presence. He can live with a very chilled dog.

Health Notes

Brian is FIV+ but is in good health. Ideally, he’ll need a vet check-up every six months just to make sure he is doing okay. With a good diet, annual vaccination and an indoor life, Brian will live a long and happy life.

Brian has had Entropion surgery on both eyes, and it has been a complete success.
