Physical Description

Spooks (Athena) is a friendly one year old tortie.

Known History & Temperament

Athena grew up in foster care with her siblings and mother before being adopted. Through no fault of her own, her first adoption didn’t work out, and after brief pit stops with both of her original foster carers, she’s ready to find her forever home.

She loves pats, and has an adorable habit of launching herself upwards into pats when they’re offered. She also likes a tummy rub, and happily stretches out to allow full pat access.

Interests and Hobbies

Spooks’ favourite hobby is chasing bugs, and she’s an expert insect catcher. Her favourites are sky raisins (aka flies) which are caught and munched in very short order.

She’s also enjoyed being up high ever since she was a little kitten, and will seek out somewhere comfy and elevated. She has no fear of leaping from heights, and enjoys keeping an eye on everything in between snoozes.

Dislikes

None that have been observed!

Purrfect Home

Athena is very chill and low maintenance. She gets on well with the resident cats, and doesn’t hold a grudge when the resident girls sometimes pick on her, instead just retreating to a nice high spot until they’re feeling less quarrelsome.

She’s not a lap cat, but she does like being near people, and often follows her foster carers from room to room. She seems to enjoy sleeping on beds, but is too polite to encroach on the beds that are already claimed by the resident cats – given the chance, though, she would probably love a bed to share with humans of her own.
